  • The gov't doesn't care because they are too busy pleasing the rich over in Clinton bay area...building million dollar homes and conducting tours. Poor kid....hope he becomes the scientist and artist he longs to be.

  • The boy is right in what he says " If everyone is educated we wont have thieves" I agree but also if we had a criminal Justice system that wasnt failing thieves would be locked up and tought what is wrong from right. People who steal, rape and kill need to be taught a lesson, everyone regardless, educated or not know right from wrong, the problem is they get away with it.

  • After the democratic party came in 1994, they increased funding... supposedly now it is supposed to be what, 25% on education? Sure... I agree that it hasn't gotten much better since apartheid times. And what's the worst is that kids like this one right here truly WANT to learn and want to be scientists and doctors and mathematicians, yet they are being treated the same way as 50 years ago, when the government was preparing blacks for manual labor jobs under the oppression of whites.

  • "so called freedom" these schools look just the same as they did in the apartheid years, 16 years later and the blacks are now opressing eachother but whites 50years down the line will still be blamed for apartheid and the reason for their failure. If no europeans went to s.a in the begining an eductation system to this day would not exsist in south africa. Its just the African way I guess.

  • @nataliedutoit24 natalie, piss off you imbecile.

    Apartheid was a disease.

The reason that S. Africa is dirt poor is because it always has been.

  • @Nikitns How would you know? I would like to know?

  • Superfoiling.comhas all math techniques.

  • yes zuma should focus on education and help these people

  • the boy is right

  • you looks small for his age and talks weird no offense

  • Well, what'd u expect?

English is not his first Language...

  • i feel lucky after watching this

  • It's even worse in South Africa than people think. In fact, people have no idea. South Africa is in an endless cycle of mess. Only 12% of the black population can go on to college--usually education stops at high school. In some regions, it stops at elementary school. Also, employment is down so parents can't buy books, and segregation is still in S. Africa; especially with education. The government spends 10x more for whites than blacks in funding. It's all on BBC.

  • the educational issues in South Africa are nothing like those in AMerica. South Africa's government is run by blacks who grew up in impoverishment yet they are insensitive to plight of their fellow african. At least american gov is white and elitist so you can understand why they are insensitive to blacks. What south africa's excuse?

  • poor child, im disgusted by those lowly animals who prey on the property of schools. its such a shame to see things like that happening ages after the independance of south africa.

  • funny then, here in england must be millions that dont go to school(drug dealers)...and since when do you need tap heads to learn??? having a building not enough these days???

  • YOu neeed more than just a building dont be silly bra. the messed up thing is that the schoolshowed here is primarily black but the ones where mostly white kids go are full of all sorts of luxurious stuff... I know that cause I was at one of those "white" schools

  • I am not sure which white school you went to, but the one I went to most of my life had few taps that worked and no toilet seats. But we did not complain to the world and blamed our skincolor for it since we went there to learn, not to have some luxury.

  • In South Africa my parents paid an annual fee which was a lot to us. Here in the UK, everybody goes to school for free. If the parents can't pay for a school trip, their kids will NOT be excluded. BUT WE STILL HAVE THIEVES!!! They steel here to feed their drug addictions! This little black boy wants to go places, I hope for his sake, he works hard at school. Go for it man! Be the best at whatever you do, not to feed bad habits please! God bless!

  • parents yes ... but if there are no porper schools to go to its goverments issue because infrastructure and systems for a national education masterplan come under the education department which is a goverment wing

  • just goes to show that despite the poverty and problems we have in the '3rd world', at least we have our priorities straight. travel any were in the west and stop a 14 year old kid and talk to him/her. chances are that he/she will not measure up to his/her age mates in the '3rd world'. i know, am from the 3rd world studying in the uk...

  • true, unless you strip a man down to his basics, then he will always take every thing for granted. I have seen kids who come from absolutely nothing to achieve great careers. i have nothing but respect for the kid above. i am also from the '3rd world' studying in the uk for my masters, kids here despite all the opportunities they have lack ambition and any zeal for life. maybe thats why in the uk ASBOs' are being issued left right and centre. ....God bless the weak and meek....

  • the vileness of white terrorist south africa continues the house niggers running the country fall over them selves how 2 please the blood soak white terrorist who still own over 99 percent of the wealth these evil people stil own and control. non of them has been improsoned for crimes against humanity, as long as the judeo white terrorists are allowe their obscene life the disgusting situation will continue untill it explodes.

  • Ah yes, if only south africa would follow the example of Mugabe's Zimbabwe, which has taken on the white thieves and terrorists. And now, everyone is better for it, with the lowest life expectancy in the world, 10,000 percent a year inflation, and millions of refugees heading to.. South Africa. If South Africa becomes like zimbabwe, where will the millions of black refugees go?

  • YOU ARE LOST...

  • It is so good to see logic again.

  • I'm not going to deny the disaster of 'Bantu education', but you should know that the ANC and Inkatha often opposed people attending school for any purpose other than a means to hold meetings and agitate. It is wrong and contrary to the spirit of the new South Africa to blame one side or the other in the past. Action is needed within and by the community. Sadly even that is nearly impossible.

  • smart kid. maybe these white south africans should give back some the wealth they stole so this kid and those like him can go to school and get a decent education.

  • Ex-fuckin-scuse me! My dad (white) was so poor, he ate corn meal (cheap SA white porridge) for breakfast and supper. He held 3 shitty jobs at a very young age. Worked his arse off, and you want him to give away what he worked for? Maybe the fucked up black goverment should steal less from the tax payers & give 2 these African schools. My dad said they built schools for the blacks and they burnt it down. Not sure why?

  • your and your dad live on stolen land -- time to take some responsibility.

  • How the hell do yo get from poor schools to stolen lands. I don't see you do anything about it. A good place to start is to tell your 'family' the Japs, the Chinese and the Koreans to f-off out of SA. Time YOU take responsibility - go on, go do your bit THEN pretend you're a ball and just roll away!

  • shut your fucking mouth

  • I hate people like you, I asume u are some oriental breed. Korea! U should be proud enough to have the country ur proud of on ur 'portfolio'. Probably because ur type don't fit in anywhere. Jap crap!

  • Education is every ones right.

    Childrean must be at school.

What is the goverment doing about the education system there.

Education has to be avb to every one and not only a seleted few.

  • education is the responsibility of parents, not government.

  • but the goverment have to support them with at least better buildings and books!!!

  • Abe Lincoln read by candlelight in a log cabin. If you want it you'll get it and parents guidance is where it's at.

  • but still the thing is you need support from goverment for better standerds

  • The government can play a part yes but to have full control is very bad. Government control and loss of control over the education of children by their parents are directly related.

  • @prrolg you are also a retard. The government SHOULD be in complete control of education and ALL other social institutions.

    "Parents in control"? lol imbecile

  • @Nikitns Well my son is doing business with me. And things 80% of his classmates are learning in school now is totally useless to him. And most of those 80% are biding time until graduation and falling behind in life in my opinion. BTW you should not jump into a conversation and call someone "Retard". It makes you look like a punk. And probably stupid as well.
