The music sounds like U2 circ. Actung baby (1991) but keane were touring with U2 in 2004 so I can appreciate the influence in sound. The lyrics are very metaphorical. The song came out in 2006 and I remember Keane saying at the time - it is how they feel about the government of the time - New labour and how they dragged the UK into the illiegal war in Iraq. They were very disappointed in how the labour govenment had turned out. In hindsight to me it makes more sense. Tx
