some soft music would be nice. It would even bring more views. for the people to understand how important this new frontier is it would help if there was apropriate music to each of nasa's vids. few people can understand how important this is but those who can't understand can be helped to feel it's importance.

Come ON ALREADY, POST SOME VIDEOS OF THE SHUTTLE LANDING ON THE MOON. ROLLING FOR TOO BE SAFE? that does make sense the point of the roll was to put a comm sat in orbit, if it wasn't safe to open the doors from debree they would not be open. I need moon shots, that baby used to cruise man
@FranQin I don't think you know much about the space shuttle, do you? The roll was to inspect the heat shield, so a disaster like Columbia doesn't happen again. Also, the shuttle is designed only for maneuvering in orbit around the Earth, and is incapable of traveling to the moon.
here is the infamous video of dr jonathan reed using the alien technology he found when killing an alien being in 1996. share this with everyone you know.
Orbital velocity in low earth orbit is about 7 km/s. This means that the space shuttle traveled about 3250km, or 2020 miles, just over the course of this video.
The Rendezvous Pitch Maneuver is so that a couple of the astronauts on Station can photograph(with very-high resolution cameras) the bottom and sides of the Shuttle. By doing so, they can make sure the Shuttle's thermal protection is safe for reentry.
i thought i was cool to mention that the video is almost 8 minutes long (and they're orbiting at what speed again?), and there was no land visible till right at the very end. that's a lot of ocean!
they are flying on the Pacific Ocean, only a small part of it though.
the atoll you see at 4:25 is part of the island nation of Palau about 875km east of Philippines. and the land you see towards the end is part of Papua New Guinea.
it is flying from North-West to South-East.
took me about 15 minutes to find that atoll among thousands of atolls in the Pacific Ocean :)

Haha! I find it funny that if you get enough negative votes that your comment is hidden.

I totally reccommend playing this video with The Blue Danube Waltz by Strauss. It's what Kubrick would have wanted!
