I have a female 08, 40" long and she is as gentle as a lamb with a great personality. Very inquisitive. I'm so happy with her and I have a male on the way that will complement her very well. Great snakes! I recommend them highly, even for a beginner. get a Woma!
Just so you know, the Woma python and the Black Headed python both have heat sensing pits. It was proven about 3 years ago. The pits are on the top lip at the front, it is theorised that they are located there because of how they stick their heads out of their hides to sense prey, without exposing too much of their head. If you don't believe me try researching it at Pilbara Pythons. Anyway it is a lovely looking Woma, Great find.
Woma pythons are awesome snakes mate. I live in Australia and the morphs that are here at the moment are pretty flash and FatherAway420, I have two male womas and my largest one will tag you all day long if you give him the chance, bites the hook and himself at times... On the other hand my smaller male is very docile and has never striked or tagged me "yet"...
She has never stuck or bitten me. However I do know a couple people who own female Womas that have had that experience. Never heard of a male Woma being nasty though.
@jeffroe334 No, woma's are very docile. All woma's I have come across ( and I own two) are extremely docile. My friend's 6 year old daughter handles my male all the time.. Never once tried to strike at her.
@mstrainman Because Womas do not have heat pits they can have a very strong feeding response, which means that at night especially, when they think or know food is on offer they will try to eat anything that comes near them so basically not handling them at night or if you smell of rats etc is a smart move. You will notice from its body language whether it thinks it feeding time or not (they raise their heads and bob, their tail wags too, which is not tail allure)
and one more thing in ur video u never said anything about the feeding of the woma i dont no the guys name but he asked for feeding information i would just add text to ur video saying what he eats
That's a beautiful snake.

Hey FatherAway420, what sub species of Woma is she? Tanami or... because she has a very cool, unusual pattern.

@FartherAway420 nice wommie!
where on Earth did you get her? you're so lucky!
In WA, Australia, she's one of the protected species and no one is allowed to collect them...

@FartherAway420 Oh, by the way about the "2 pythons to lack heat sensing pits" it's not entirely correct, BHP have them under their rostral scales :)
