I still have the original boxed version of the game on floppy disk. I never played the CD version but even the unvoiced floppy version blew my mind back then. And they had real game manuals... Those were the days.

I always regretted never pursuing this game. This was one of those games that I just couldn't fit into my video gaming schedule when I was a kid. I was always intrigued by it, and watching this vid, I wish I had played it.

One reason I loved playing Akshell was just that the voice acting for him was the most convincing. The other three sounded too corny to me.

The parchment, although cryptic and difficult to read, provides very interesting insight into the game's story arc.  The first piece of parchment is a letter to King Richard from Roland describing the necessity of the Ruby of Truth in combating the Nether Mask.

The parchment just alludes to things later in the game. Just some cool items to aficionado's of the game

You can also kill him with IV magic it kills him instantly

Its impossible to fight him with better items, at that time the best weapon you got is rapier, unless you get full equipment like buckler and the shoes, and do all magic

For every character except the magic user and the cat you should be able to just fight it out with the orc and win at this point in the game.

I know a way to kill that overgrown orc you most use 2 swarm and cast all your spells then throw the rocks you win a axe that you can sell for 150 coins its worth it
