the letter didnt say he was committing suicide because of depression or that he didnt fit in, it didnt say anything like that. it just spoke of how he has smoked his last cig, ate his last breakfast, that he wanted his bff to tell his family he loves them. he wanted his bff to have a wonderful life. it never said the reasons why he chose to end his life.
The pressures growing up with famous parents are nothing compared to the psychological manipulation HEAPED upon those who chose to subscribe to the BIGOTED dogmas masterfully woven into The Mormon Church. it pisses me off seeing how the 'Blinder-Wearing-Separatist' Dogmas the LDS Church preaches keeps claiming life, after life. It's clearly a personal journey we're all on, Rest In Peace Michael,
I wasn't raised LDS,yet I could relate to your comment abt high demand churches & manipulation. If a child hears that certain behavior is sinful from church doctrine, no matter how loving/tolerant parents are, it is confusing that the family supports a church/denomination that teaches intolerance instead of understanding/acceptance.That fact alone would encourage a child to keep secrets instead of sharing them.Secrets can kill.I renounced the beliefs I was raised w/.
It was rocky w/ the family for a while, but I felt as though a crushing boulder had been lifted off me. We all survived my disbelief. Love makes a way.
My heart does go out to Marie and her family. To lose a loved one to suicide must be devastating. I often think abt my very beautiful g-grandmother who commited suicide in her mid-thirties. At least in my family we are well aware that mental illness is in family DNA, a few suicides. Thank God for anti-depressants & good therapists.
This is a awesome video and i am glad that Donny is still there for his sister in her time of need and May God Bless yalls family and may he give you comfort ,peace and strenght. yall are in my prayers.
