In the explanation about this song says it is about the bitter time of conquest and suffering? it has nothing to do with that!! it is about a man singing to a woman!! and also north american indians have nothing to do with south americans, they never had an empire, they were only tribes. Anyway, is only about the song but it was written by Fredy Ortiz (Peru) and he makes modern music in quechua but specially this song has arrangements by Alborada (Peru) that's why the sound is like folk music
mmm sorry but your pictures show natives from NORTH America and not from South, they didn't talk in Quechua and there where not bufalos here... (I am from Perú), I'm not indian but my roots and we are differents!!
@MrsRobota hi, thanks for your critics. Yes, actually I follow great deal of north & south amerindian culture, I know this song is created by Fredy Ortiz & there are many artists such as Alborada who promote this kind of music without losing the south amerindian aspect. The truth is, I just put whatever pictures I got in my computer without really thinking what others might think, cause I'm more into the song. So next time, I should put more neutral pics if I don't have the appropriate pics
@bushido4368 I understand maybe you feel is the same, but I am not agree, the feeling is total different between south and north music, that's reason I think is a big mistake to confuse it as if both things were the same and were irrelevant, it is not indeed!!... can confuse more people... BTW maybe this man you mention is my relative lol, some of my family made this kind of music too.
@MrsRobota Yeah I admit the misunderstanding is clear here in Indonesia. So ur families are into music? I've seen ur channel btw;I rarely listen that kind of music but turns out that's nice. lol actually this man is an Indian from Otavalo,Ecuador. I've known him since last year he visited my city. he introduced me to Andean new age and ecuadorian music, taught me how to play quena, and inspired me to learn more bout Inca culture. then again, maybe I should learn more.
@bushido4368 When I was child, I remember some of my relatives recorded vynils with andean music, they were from antiplane between Perú-Bolivia and they knew to play those intruments. I respect this music and who likes it, but now as adult, I am working as fan-manager of the band you realize in my channel, so I am more close to it for this reason, anyway I can always enjoy all music styles, thanks for share this music. BTW Selamat Tahun Baru!!
@MrsRobota Nice to know someone who respect this kind of music too (and care about the real meaning behind it). Thanks and Selamat Tahun Baru (hey, now you know Indonesian) ! Or should I say...Feliz Ano Nuevo
