@supernintendoman97 I know an even easier way. All you have to do is wait until the Phazon Metroids are solid, and then pick them off using the Nova Beam/X-Ray Visor headshot trick. Yeah, you can't do it until late in the game, but it makes the Valhalla a cakewalk, even on Hypermode.

@TheAmazingRowen oh i put him up there the only difference is that the omega metroid at the end of fusion is like 2x as big as samus which is unusuall (srry for the spelin) because reg omega metroids are the same height as samus, the fusion omega metroid mustof been exposed to some form of radiation that makes him adnomaly large, just like the metroid from super metroid that grown huge without evolving throug the life cycle of a metroid

I pretty much had the same reaction when the lights went out. I actually didn't know about the X-ray+Nova combo, i was hell surprised when i defeated the Metroid Hatcher in Norion in one shot. I walked, thought, "Oh shit..." Kill it in one shot and think, "Umm...I WIN!"

Try to use X-Ray and stick aim with Z you will see like a radiography of the metroid so you can kill him with one shoot if you shoot in the weak points (orange ones). You can kill in this mode some other kind of enemies too (specially some boss).

But I kill the metroids in hyper mode with a charge shoot.
