  • The Way which can be named is not the eternal Way.

  • Great explanation. similar to the book "Tao of Pooh". This is called Wu-Wei I believe.

  • @davko79 Yes, wu-wei, which is "action through non-action". The Tao of Pooh was one of the first books I ever read on Eastern philosophy. Good stuff.

  • The cat sounds happy that he is talking about this. LOL!

  • @EverBloom100 Yes, my cat is very Taoist...she just lets things be, and loves to observe :)

  • What are some differences between Taoism and Shinto? X:

  • @xaniimax I'm not too familiar with Shinto so I'd have to wikipedia that :)

  • I feel like my Dao(path) is a river and as i get old it gets wider

  • @muz1c4lif3 I like the way you phrased this. That resonates for me as well.

  • i wonder what is the purpose for wanting to live and striving for anythng for everything changes and u lose it, if im to the point where i dont want to fight for anything, stand for anything, and dont want to live under labels anymore..would being alive and living be hypacritical? what are we living for? i dont know who i am anymore but what then is life once u reach this point?

  • "The sage relies on actionless activity; Puts himself in the background; but is always to the fore. Remains outside; but is always there. Is it not just because he does not strive for any personal end That all his personal ends are fulfilled? “

  • @BonaDun Yes...nice quote

  • You are a wise man

  • @funkmasta34110 Thanks for your kind feedback

  • thank you

  • @hiphopsupremedotcom My pleasure...thanks for your warm comment.

  • @hiphopsupremedotcom You're welcome

  • Chris - thank you for those comments. I relate to you 100%. I am translating the Tao and am nearly done. What you say resonates with the essence of Tao, in my view. A beautiful example using Christian mythology is Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. He expresses a brief wish to have "this cup pass", but then says "not my will but your will be done". If we follow the mythology through, we find that this "allowing" lead ultimately to resurrection and ascension. Tao leads to Te. Thanks.

  • @massage33316 That is really cool that you are translating the Tao. I'm glad this video resonated for you. Thanks for sharing your feedback.

  • you are so cute...... so to sum it up go with the flow lol

  • @simplegrl11589 Yes, go with the flow is a great summary.

  • You are wise, mortal. You have spoken correctly.

  • @MarisTheGreatkills Thanks for your kind feedback. I'm not so sure that I'm mortal though :) I have a web site called physicalimmortality dotorg if you're curious about that.
