@hsmetalhead They both have wonderful voices. Opeth did a wonderful cover, yes... But Deep Purple is the original, and this song would not be without Deep Purple. I respect all of Opeth's covers, but still love the originals, and I have worshiped Opeth since I was 12. :P

@keithblabbermouth Late 80s/90s death metal (see stated influences in Bloodbath interviews) and 70s progrock (the opening to melody in 'The Drapery Falls' is more-or-less lifted from 'Court of the Crimson King' by King Crimson). Mikael's a Tool fan, and sometimes I hear a bit of their influence in his heavier stuff as well.
