  • No pulp market I take it.

  • firewood or burned. We only take down to a 4 or 5 inch top

  • Does that even go for a firewood ?!?

  • R making firewood there ??

  • Stupid waste of wood !!!!

  • medium size and pecker polls the worst kinda of mix you can get in your log deck because then it fast slow fast slow and its big mess but thankfully these are sawlogs

  • @Madill3800c MORE LIKE F'KIN CHIP N SAW JACKASS!!!!

  • @shay12901 wow buddy

  • @shay12901 lol

  • Man I love technology! Those things are cool!

  • skidderman1991 hey taykor its the little man deric or as i calll my self now the fuckin dumb ass who agrees to clean up crew for 50 bucks a day any man come to gad damn kmaloops

    already i miss my brother

  • is this porn for tree huggers or logers

  • lol what a tree hugger!! i'll bet anything your seeing a tree farm, land owned and utilized for the production of trees for what ever reason. i mean, c'mon, does that look like old growth trees to you? this is a farm, no different than a corn field.

  • Matters not whether U C this as a farm or a forest. It does, or at least should be planted so it can B the beginnings of a new forest. Tree pharming, with its chemicals (e.g. fungicides) and monoculture of cashcrops is the insanity that weakened the forests, inviting the blight that invited the pine beetle 2 grow unchecked. So whether farm, pharm or forest it should not be cut down en masse in "scorched earth" clearcut fashion. Thats a last ditch military strategy of retreat, not forest managmt

  • Hey bud you went in search of these video's so go find a wood pecker hole and put your dick in it...lol maybe you can get off on that...but for us loggers we can get off by watching a waratah work.....well we can get off on any piece of forestry machines....so go put your scarf back on and go shop at trader joes, and pick me up some spotted owl underwear when your there....hahahaha

  • U guys are watching yourselves be automated out of jobs by a loud ugly machine, & lovin' it! The love of machines, displacing the focus off of life in general, is necrophilia. When you kill off a forest (clearcut) you destroy the base from which the resource springs in the first place. Your overcutting cuts yourself out of jobs. Your tolerating the selling off of raw logs & basically not making finished wood products is pissing away your heritage for next to nothing. Canada is a 3rd world nation

  • slow compared to a 624 on our 2554 but it is more stable

  • ooo yea u like it

  • This video is a 624 on a 370 log loader

  • nice man keep the wood flying through the head an dont mind me askin what size head u got there

  • Look what logging may soon do to a small town!:

(Check our channel out and view video)

  • take it your photoeye wasn't workin eh...

  • Yeah it wasnt. That block had a lot of root rot and swept butts so 75% of the time I had to long butt anyways.

  • Why so much waste ??

  • wow. what an incredible machine!

  • What criteria are being used when making the cuts on the logs?

  • Diameter mostly determines what length to cut and whether or not it makes an export log or a domestic one

  • if all them EPA fanatics wernt in cally we could get alot of wood out of them forest...but since they keep alot of pppl from doing that all that good wood goes to waste in fires...

  • This is a Great machine and cuts down the accident rate from on the ground workers dramatically.

  • o.k., what kinda sorting was that ? what was goin on with the pulp

  • sawlog, chip and saw and the pulp is on the other side of me along with fir poles

  • Are they even using that waste wood for firewood ?

  • A firewood contractor comes in afterwards. This is 3 minutes from a residetial neighborhood so the locals would have that cut up by now

  • Cant beat watatah for accuracy and smoothness. They do such a neat job on the timber compared to other heads ive operated

  • seems like such a waste of wood, and small piece size to

  • Yeah it is a waste, its private land with no stumpage and they are cutting for export so they want the perfect log

  • im in new zealand cutting for pan pac forests we have an operation based at the mills log yard carting in 18m-32m stems to our operation using a zx450-3 and waratah big wood 626 we have about ten stems a day that we cant even pick up and some stem we cant cut the hinge wood off, trying to get vids up but having trouble converting them to the comp

  • Yeah it is a waste, its private land with no stumpage and they are cutting for export so they want the perfect log

  • I work for Coast Mechanical Harvesting.I have run a logmax and a waratah and the waratah cant be beat

  • Those Waratah heads are all the industry raves about now. You working for Fall-Tech (gregsons)?
