no no no this list won't do, you can say that opinions differ but leaving Napoleon, Ceasar, Pompey, Scipio, Alexander the great, Rommel (or any WW2 generals for that matter) out of it is simply nop possible in a top 30

Im sort of sad Robert E. Lee didnt make this list, or the last. If Grant was on it, Lee should of been, Lee was a much better general, he jsut didnt have the men or resources that the union did.

You forgot one of the Europe's bigger commander. He won the war against the Turks were he had only 40.000 people and the Turks had 120.000. His name is Stephen III or Stephen the Great and he lost only one battle in his own life from 48 done .

@890buddha True in a sense she was a figure head but she was there on the battlefield and was wounded in one of the actions and it was her ideas that lead the army of France. Ironically the only time she didn't listen to the voice of the angels was her defeat trying to take Paris.
