BJJ is really a ground only art. this is much closer to MMA then BJJ. its primarily mind set that's different. their ground fighting is usually much more like judo. there fights go like. strikes followed by a quick throw followed a a little GnP then quick submission. BJJ is quick take down followed by battle for position then maybe GnP but probably quick submission.
They concentrated not only on ground techniques, but throwing techniques like Hapkido techniques. They have also added Tae Kwon Do as well. Hapkido was a mix of Tae kwon Do and Daito Ryu Jujitsu. This has Daito Ryu Jujitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Hakko Ryu Jujitsu, and Muai Thai kickboxing... BJJ is not the only Jujitsu out there. Its just more famous because of Royice Grace and the UFC influence. The Brazillians got it from Japan so there are allot more Jujitsu styles, not just Brazillian Jujitsu.
This art is combination of judo, hakko ryu jujitsu, hapkido, kyuktoogi (taekwondo+muay thai), and other korean or japanese tma. It does not derive from bjj.
Wow ty for this technique.. Omg the lil difference makes a huge difference , if that makes sense lol.

I'm glad they can admit the japanese influence without getting outta sorts like some do. Good job. Technique knows no boundaries.
