just to give you an impression of how immense the bridge is, the bridge from mrs. macquarie's chair is more than 1.5 kilometres away. just seeing the whole bridge & the surrounding environment surrounding light up is something you'll never forget. the sydney fireworks on TV doesn't give you the full experience, you have to be watching it with your own eyes.

well maybe i'm a little biased as well but in my mind, london's fireworks look more like a cloud of smoke and light than sydney's. they spend all their fireworks around that same area around the eye. not to mention that the sydney millenium fireworks had much more shells than this one. also in my mind, london just doesn't have a place like sydney harbour and the bridge to show off their fireworks.

well, i've seen it. and to be honest it was only about 3.5 millions dollars and 20 tons of fireworks - the lack of artistic vision was obvious to my mind. I admin it was impressive but a little messy.
