Can someone explain to me what the difference between Rurouni kenshin and samurai X is? they both have the same characters. Is it just the original name? I remember watching Rurouni kenshin years ago, then watching samurai X. Is it like full metal brotherhood? where its the same basic story just told more true to the manga?

The dub for the DVD's is animeworks or something like that. This dub seems to be a different company than the original, and yes it is god awful. But funimation did not dub the original show on Toonami, it was a different company.

Yahiko (aka Yoshi in this dub) is the only dubbed voice who I think is halfway decent. But the other yahiko is still better. And Sano's voice actor from Media Blaster's dub is the voice actor for Hiko in this dub.
