@cameronstl It was written specifically for Sammy. I believe Michael said he would only perform it that one time. It was a personal gift to Sammy for what he endured and the doors he opened. I mean you never hear about Sammy's contributions, yet he was arguably the greatest allround talent of the 20th century in the field of entertainment. Many of his contemproaries thought so. It was nice that the biggest star in the world had the foresight to honor him in this way, shortly before he died.

I don't like fanboy comments. But in all honesty I've not heard a better voice than MJ's. It's even better than Sammy's, and he was hard to beat. Sammy along with the Rat Pack was probably a better gig, but MJ could seriously put on a show. Shame MJ didn't get the same natural lifespan as Sammy, and spent so much of it putting up with shit.

And she (and my dad) raised us to understand how horribly black people were treated.
