How is this a scam?

Bars pull shit like this all the time. When you have alcohol+juice, the alcohol can be easily diluted.

If a bottle of expensive vodka is empty, you can just re-fill is with a cheaper kind of vodka, and nobody can tell.

If you add some flavorings to the fruit juice, it can mask the weakness of the alcohol.

Last but not least, if you pay all that money for a mixed drink, keep in mind that the bar paid only 10% of that when they bought the alcohol.

dud the speed pourer measures a double speed. Juice pourers are store and pours and come in a storage container. For an ounce of 3 counts we usually use the tapered pourer. The only thing I agree is that bottles are supposed to be held at the neck not at the middle.

Oh yes and the pourer guy is really unprofessional. Ice should be filled to the brim to chill down the entire drink from base to brim.
