  • Heng Wei is a legend and deserves respect, if he wanted to hospitalise u it ain't gonna be hard for him at all!

  • Dus anyone know a book for the forms or Kung Fu they teach I'm new and want to catch up and practice at home??

  • ....great...

  • I've trained with the monks and they can knock you down like a twig. Believe me, it's better to be hit by a car than by them !!!!

  • is the kid on 2:46 his son ?

  • no, he's not

  • loveeee it and loveeee him

  • FIREbending!!!!!!!

  • im lucky cause hes my teacher if you live in london he england hes in finchely road so yeah

  • Looks like a fantasy dance class to me ! whoooa !!

  • yea true bro these days most shaolin monks practice only wushu for performing in order to obtain money for the temple. Pure shaolin is kinda dying unfortunately T_T

  • Wow this sifu is correct! Too bad he teaches in England. I'd be honored to learn under him. Then again, I'm lucky to have the master I have right now too.

  • @musicispower84 He teaches around my area...i just might join...

  • The qi techniques can also be used offensively to the level of causing damage to internal organs, rupturing blood vessles and breaking bones if practiced by a true master. The qi energy has also been tracked across monks bodys and being transfered into others.

Im not sure exactly what you ment by lies but true shaolins are never dishonest it is against their code. Even though this man is not shaolin and simply trains their forms i have no doubt that he has skill and that one kick would K.O you

  • @QuiteDrunkOnGin

actually the 'man' in the video is Shifu Shi Heng Wei, who is a 35th Generation Master from the Shaolin Temple China. He studied martial arts from the age of 6 and qualified as a Master at the age of 16. He is fully accomplished in all aspects of Shaolin Kung Fu (weapons, forms, sanshou - Chinese boxing and yes acrobatics ) and also Qi Gong and Tai Chi. If you find a true master from Shaolin you will find that they can all do this and it's part of their training.

  • @kungfukaren when did i say he wasn't or they can't? im well aware of that :P

  • @kungfukaren That's very interesting, my master is 36th generation of the I-Chuan branch, He's practiced since 4 yrs of age, was taught by a entire monastery, has masterful proficiency in multiple forms: 5 animals, Bagua, Ching-I, Tai-chi, etc., was a young master at 16, had to endure a 36 hr test to acquire that mastery, he was an underground cage fighter and never lost. One time he told me to watch old Zatoichi films. "The people in those films move like people when they really fight."

  • @Helix144 underground cage fighter?? for real??

  • more than that it refines the strength of the body whilst at the same time hardening it with years of conditioning. by hitting parts of their body's 1000's of times a day 2 hours for each part they become like iron against all attacks. and then further strengthen the body by training the mind in meditation and qi gung techniques which can literaly be used to heal wounds at a far greater rate than any human to the effect that they can fight for hours if needed and never loose their breath.

  • Acrobats.... yeah and the world is flat right?

It's not your fault though english speaking cultures are doomed to bring up generation upon generation of closed minded children. because of the effects movies have on people they see flips in movies and think thats cool. but it must be easy and it must be the same as martial arts. shaolin training goes beyond any form of edjucation to ever exist it is a philosophy a way of life.

  • absolutely beautiful, and genius fighting skills, respect from eastlondon.

  • that is somebody else's opinion, not mine :)

  • uuuhhhh how about NOOOOOOOOO! a lot of respect for the shaolin monks a long long time ago but now there just acrobats, i mean really good acrobats! Stop spreading the lies!

  • not too sure what you mean when you say lies...I never met a Shaolin monk when all started so I can not make a comparison with a modern Shaolin martial artist but I think that even what you call acrobatics require the cultivation and development of virtues such as discipline, perseverance, will power and clear and focused states of mind which go far beyond simple physical fitness; at least this is what I think...

  • @LifeArtsMedia excellent retort. well said

  • @LifeArtsMedia There is a term in Martial business, it's called a green technique. A tech. that is really flashy, hard to do and very impractical, but it keeps the student coming back and spending their green or money. It seems that unless you've been practicing wushu since adolescence, you'll be mediocre at best and self defense will have a high improvability, but I guess you can always nurse your wounds with ideas of developed virtues, plus don't forget to pay your monthly fees. : \

  • @Helix144 I hope that you are not implying that Tang Long uses your 'green technique,' as it is far from what you seem to perceive it as being. Not only are lessons cheap, but the techniques taught are authentic and very easy to get a hang of. You don't need to start from an early age as you naturally will improve over time, and trust me, i have seen people improve to a professional level in just over two years training at this school, so I would advise you visiting before criticizing it.

  • @martialmethod Sorry but I go here and it is not what you say at all. That is why it says Kung Fu in the title. Just because he demonstrates acrobatics doesn't mean that that is all they do.

  • @IVIrIVIagic I'm going to come there how much are the lessons? Once i was out with this girl in a club, she was flirting to get me angry for no reason, i was holding an empty glass while composing my anger towards her and the whole glass shattered into little pieces. it was amazing... it freaked the girl out and we left. is that some kind of chi energy?

  • @martialmethod I've heard the rumor that the Martial Monks died off along time ago.

  • @martialmethod Spreading lies? Shaolin kung fu is not all acrobatics. Clearly you don't know much about it. Do a bit of research on it, and by that I mean traditional shaolin kung fu.
