My Lycksele Havet has collapsed in the middle. I think it may be structurally flawed. It has a frame that makes up the back and front seat with the wooden slats going across the bed sideways, which means that if you sleep in the middle you exert pressure on the centre frame which is rectangular in shape so it doesn't let the pressure pass through, but deflect it like a sail.
I own the Lycksele Havet sofa bed from Ikea. Sofa beds are comfortable to sleep and sit in providing you get the right mattress. Ikea has three different sofabed mattresses for it's entire range. From soft occasional to hard everlasting they are Lovas, Murbo and Havet.

@Akupuncturist My mother used it a few nights and said it is comfortabe. I haven't had to sleep in it myself so I can't speak firsthand.
