  • Out o f words! I am exicted, took me back to my childhood memoeies, at government college Ughelli. former bendel state.

  • shina music will never die

  • Shina can dance... Shikena

  • There has not been any music produced by any musician that surpassed the"effect" his first two alubms generated in the society. It even extended to Western countries. There hasn't been anything like it.

  • For Shina to surpass his two blockbuster albums- Ace and Shinamania was an uphill task. He tried stagging a comeback with "Experience", but it was shortlived. Ace and Shinamania will forever be evergreen- even more than any album that Obey or Sunny Ade ever produced.

  • I mean, this guy's music is the only Yoruba music I can sing word for word without any errors and I don't even speak yoruba.

  • The Best of Shina......

  • this is wen tha tune starts 2 go in

  • open and close

  • omg~~! I can't shout~~!!

  • EVERGREEN SSP.

  • C'MON ROLL!! LOL

  • Open and Close dance this guy does is so Funny.

  • This was back in the days when Shina Peters was dazzling Nigerians of all divides. His music and personality were very popular. His music was loved by many. That was the when music na music, not now most Naija musicians only "dey praise themselves"

    Long live SSP

  • Igbo I am, but forget......this is one of ma mum's best song, she always sang it and still does..."Omo nbo oooo" hehehehe, I miss home.

  • God bless SSP!

  • Ese meji loke o - it means 2 legs up in the air...This song brings me back to my youth. Who ever upload this...Kodos 2 u...

  • "Shinamania dami lohun, Ese meji loke o" caqn anyone tell me the meaning of that . . .

  • it's the conclusion to sisi kan gbe ketu....i.e. stop posing and get down...since you ain't all that...

  • you dont get it lol . . .when a woman puts two legs up...and calls a man to answer her . . .(what I think tho . . . .nasty but funny...)

  • @jideszone that's what "get down..." in my response refered to...It seems nuance is lost on youtube.

  • my o my! Classic Tune this is. Bless whoeva thought of uploading this on youtube. This Powerful Song is one of the few ones that held our beloved Country (nig) together. Virtually every tribe in nigeria, even the Sick, rich ,poor, Politicians, military , sckool kids, everyone sang and danced to this song. why cant we just go back to the oldies eh? bless ma motherland..

  • wow this is awesome; i can't be;ieve i still remember d lyrics.............brings the times of no wahala and hustling back to mind.

  • i like 1.20

  • brilliant no doubt

  • 0:40- Am sure some of these pupil must have married now, another truth, some must have died.........

  • tru say

  • In my opinion, this was the first song that I heard that treid to embrace the diversity of our cultures.

Even though, predominantly sang in Yoruba, he tried to reach out to the whole nation. As a youruba boy growing up in warri, i have heard many tribal songs, but none so inclusive.

I hope we are learning; that together we are stronger. The days of taking cheap shots at other tribes should be put in the past.

When ur army is a 120 million man strong, no one can stop u.. Nija must rise again!

  • @ghostly7878 I think it was just dependent on the location you were when this song came out. As you may know, Lagos is a melting pot of different ethnicities, People from all over the country reside there because it used to be the capital of Nigeria at one point. people in Benin or Ontisha weren't as into this song as those based in Lagos at that time. But I do give him kudos, His music really transcended over different ethnicities. Even Abokis in festac then could sing his music. Kudos Shina!

  • @gusto4106 are you from Festac Town? if yes, whereabouts?

  • @yormeey 3rd avenue

  • @yormeey Oh I see, which part of 3rd Avenue? It's one of the longest roads isn't it?

Where are you at the moment?

  • This was my FAVORITE dance song when I was young! I would be in the shower and run out to dance, lol!

Thank you for the upload... I was dancing the entire way through.

  • Thanks. Classic.

  • Isnt it funny how the music you listened to at a particular time of your life can stick with you for ever?. I was at the university of Ilorin when this song came out. Now I feel like being back to that moment and relive it. I used to listen to this when i was preparing for exams. God i feel so old !!!!
