its pretty bad, but after the pull out in afganistan all that extra money going to go to navy and airforce. governemt put 800 mill dollers to buy new equipment for them, but cause of afganistan they ended up using it to replace and repair damiged equipment, i hope we get those 4 supply ships. And wtf is the government doing i mean they are not spending the money for recruts, only reason people joining infentrey is cause of these youtube videos. need more navy and airforce recrutment ads.
@cheedoz the military does not know how to recruit, if you check out the royal marines website their full of Canadians with story's about shitty recruiters with bad attitude turning away qualified recruits, not finished applications, losing them etc... so these recruits go the the U.K and serve their. A Canadian serving in the RAF was pinned a medal by the queen for a risky rescue for landing under fire to evacuate wounded, he was turned down by the Canadian forces.
@cheedoz more recently their new recruiting ads from what i hear, they play before you see a movie in theater, it says some stupid shit like "do you know what 12x8 is" and if you know the answer you will be contacted? wtf is that. The navy needs to step up its game with recruitment, advertise the jobs show that their bad ass jobs, and for shit sakes no one is going to join a navy to serve on 40 year old resupply ships. New cool equipment=new recruits.
