  • Хорошая идея!!!! Попробую и я его собрать.

  • Why? my water turns green?

  • @keyko69 copper

  • @keyko69 use stainless steel instead of copper

  • There are cone shaped drill bits at your local hardware store. They are easy to use, just use tape to mark the depth and leave a long tail on the tape to make it more visible.

  • For your amusement: Chemists have, for the longest time, used HOH as the short hand for water. HHO is NEVER used by PhD chemists.

HOH is used in all of the textbooks going back forever.

    Get with the program.

    ----

Overvoltage and variable voltage/energy available are entirely active areas of research. Concentrate on them. Either one, if improved, would mean something real -- way beyond a hobby.

    Best of luck.

  • Drill your hole mto size and use you brass fitting to cut the threds

It works very good on my prototype and the prototype is working very good as well. It's save 30% full consumption so far. good luck. n3ope

  • It's possible but conventional electrolysis may not generate it fast enough to run it well in real time. There's one guy working on other methods of splitting H2O into HHO using a gizzmo he patented that replaces spark plugs. I'm on the fence waiting to see where it goes.

  • 1/4" and 3/8" NPT taps are cheap. Less than ten dollars.

Or search fish tank bulk head fittings.

  • I'll try that. Thanks for your comment.

  • PVC is easy to drill and tap.... never did plexiglass.

  • where? I found some for about $40 the set.

  • Use rubber 2 (O rings) 2 washers and a male and female brass barbed 3/8 fitting. Drill hole in the box top and insert and turn tight with wrenches. Cut of barb end off fitting that goes inside the tank.

connect the cell bubbler to your air breather housing housing the same way, use 3/8 hose and fitting because the liquid\gas one way check valves come in 3/8 size.

  • Getting really anxious to crank this thing up. Unfortunately, the glue still has to set around the lug terminals so, no HHO tonight. :-( But tomorrow night... >:-) <--- Evil scientist grin.

  • My oldest daughter, a college junior, who is a huge MythBusters fan was poking fun at me earlier saying "Dad, don't you know MythBusters already disproved electrolysis as a fuel source?" With all due respect to Adam, Jamie & gang, I'm pretty sure they only tested alternating polarity plate designs. I doubt they tried series neutral plate designs. They may want to revisit this one.

  • A rubber washer that you use on drain plugs are like a couple bucks (or even free if you know the right mechanic). Drill a hole JUST big enough for the threads to go all the way in, then use the plugs on both sides as washers, a nut on the other side will keep that thing nice and tight, and leak-free without waiting another day for marine stuff to dry =)

  • You misunderstand. I'm not concerned about sealing the lugs against the case. Rather, sealing all the copper lugs and any exposed copper wire strands from the electrolyte. This includes the lugs attached to the positive and negative plates. You'll see better tomorrow. ZFF

  • Well if you didn't want any wires exposed, I figured you'd pull the wire through a hole in the side of the box before putting the tap on the end. Then use sealant around the hole to keep any liquid from coming out. =)
