I would like to see these mostly US, British and French protesters, do the same thing with the many 'territories' and other colonies that they have illegally occupied througout history. The US stole half of Mexico's territory and that's fine; occupied and massacred(and continues to do so)Iraq and that's fine; the UK's list is too long to describe. They need to get off of their moral horse and clean their own home first.

Yes, China is Communist government. So what? Don't use the Communist to scary people. Too bad, China has become more and more like US, capitalist society. China is not perfect and far from it. But one thing I assure you is that the Chinese government takes care its people much better than what the US does. Especially the treatment to its minorities. In fact, there are so much discriminations against minorities in the US. Yes, US is free world, yes free if you have moneny.

Minorities in China are routinely denied access to jobs, social welfare programs, and the most basic freedoms that I as a Tibetan who was born in Tibet and a minority in America enjoy. China's foe-systems of autonomy and minority protection are mechanisms of exclusion and control. Tibetans as a minority in China are being assimilated through population Transfer. It is a shame that well meaning leftist Americans choose to side with the biggest human rights violator on earth.  Free Tibet Now!

Do you feel communist scary. Here we are just mention the form of Govt. But one thing is true 'there is not human right in Tibet, China had to leave Tibet for Tibetans'. Dear Chinese friends if you have any thing to prove that the Tibetans enjoy basic fundamental rights in Tibet. Then do let us know. What I know is Tibetan don't enjoy any basic fundamental rights in Tibet (right to faith, education, movement, expression and so so). In Tibet (re-education, patriotic educ, strike hard)
