  • unfortunately, pretty much everything said here concerning mithra is simply not true, or at the very least, unsubstantiated at this time.. i.e; acharya s (d.m. murdoch) does not support her claims in these particular matters. and just as jordan says, you must do your homework. that said, there ARE parallels from a purely thematic perspective, between the jesus myth and that of mithra.

  • Who is that little boy in the audience asking unintelligent questions? Someone should have snatched the microphone from him, so we don't waste time here. ;-)

  • Good point

  • Jordon Maxwell fully believes in the presence of aliens on earth, has seen flying saucers, and has conversed with extra-terrestrials...

but doesn't believe that the man Jesus the Messiah walked this earth??! ... even when secular historians documented the same things the gospels of the New Testament record??!

    hmmmm ....

  • @ChemicalElements07 There is so little written in the bible about Jesus, it is difficult to determine anything from that record. Paul invented the ch religion and never saw Jesus himself. Also, the fact that the Jesus story has been evident in other cultures, using different names, etc does nothing to support he actually walked the earth. And even if he did, who exactly was it that said he was the son of God? How does one come to that conclusion? This cannot be verified.

  • (Intellectual Spiritual Enlightenment vs Human Darkness & Ignorance) To this day this really is the fight of Good vs Evil. Let The Battle Begin!!!! FIGHT! LOL.

  • the voice from the crowd is both stupid and funny

  • It might just be me but whenever someone rings into a talk show or puts their hand up and asks a question, they sound like they're about to die, and have severe brain-damage and fluoride-poisoning?

  • jesus is gods sun.gods sun is that bright thing in the sky. astrotheology

  • The guy doesn't know what to ask, he is just rumbuling around.

  • Maxwell is dead wrong. The true name of Jesus is Yahshua in Hebrew. Now, time wise, Yahshua came into this world during the Roman Empire under Caesar's rule in that particular region. It is that significant in time that shape the Hebrew history and the world. It's also sad to say that even the Jews are deceived and the whole world will be when you have dark priest like Maxwell going around wicking (twisting) the truth. Now you tell me why Maxwell would go lay inside a tomb of the pyramid?

  • "Now you tell me why Maxwell would go lay inside a tomb of the pyramid? "

    where did u hear this?

  • lookup: Jordan Maxwell Egypt Pyramid. While giving a speech on the pyramids in Egypt, Maxwell tells everyone that he went inside the pyramid and laid inside a tomb. He himself is saying that. Now, in joining the occult or being initiated, one goes through the ritual of "going through death". You think for yourself and do more research. But while doing so, don't forget to have fun.

  • @Infectiousthought Jordan has talked about it a couple of times he was there with Hakim Awyan.

  • Maybe you are the one who's dead wrong.

JOSHUA = YE-HO-SHUA God the Saviour

    JESUS = YE-SHUA God Saviour

Joshua had 12 helpers, and in the original KJV was translated as JESUS. Just another version of the sun/son of god. Not to mention that the Jews NEVER believed the Jesus story b/c they knew it was fake. Jesus Ben Pandira practised Egyptian magic and lived in c. 2 BCE under Alexander Jannaeus and then his widow.

  • @MandolinoFan are you suggesting this is the joshua/jesus of the gnostic gospels??? (i.e; thomas, etc.)...because apparently there was a 'joshua cult' of some sort in operation at that time

  • @ub2bnThere seemed to be a Joshua cult, alright: the very name "Joshua" or "Yehoshua" means, "God saves" or similar. Then this solar "Joshua" cult was transformed into the story of a fictitious messiah. But this Jehoshua Ben Pandira has nothing to do with nonexistent historical Jesus, as it has been proven. Plus, texts like "Weekend on the lake", "The tale of the shipwrecked", "The tale of Setme", and a few others are shamelessly but skilfully plagiarised in the NT.

  • Is that Matthew Broderick asking questions in the audience? Sounds like Matthew Broderick! LOL!

  • That kid was getting on my nerves. I'm a speaker too. I would have just told this kid "Look, you're wrong okay?" LOL.

Jordan just told him Mythra existed BEFORE Jesus, and this stupid kid says, but yeah but when Jesus was missing he could have traveled to other nations. Huh? Sit down.

  • This is heavy. I believe it is both a person and what Jordan states.

  • Jordan isn't stating that it's a person AND allegory. He's really brushing off that annoying kid so he can get on with his questions.

He stated what he meant many times that Jesus was mere symbolism... but this kid won't let it go, so he's like "whatever". He even tells the kid that Mythra existed BEFORE Jesus, but the kid isn't listening.
