I'm surprised how they almost seemed to dodge the Patriot Act question. I was nodding my head right up to that.

@Madfoot713 Bill Still does not know enough about it so he gave an honest answer "i'm not sure". Would you rather him speak on an issue he is not 1005 informed on?

@slumberingsam Normally I'd be ok with it but the Patriot Act is one of those black-and-white issues as far as liberty goes. I'm not sure how you can make a libertarian case for not repealing it.

@Madfoot713 I promise once Bill Still looked into it he would agree on repealing it. He is all about deconsolidation of power, He simply doesn't want to speak on an issue that he knows little about. I'm sure his thinking is that he wants to read the acts himself first. By the way if you have not seen Bill Still's "The Secret of Oz" i urge you to check it out.

As a tax resolution specialist, I can guarantee that removing payroll requirements would screw over millions of Americans. People can barely afford to pay their bills. If the employer does not pay the employment taxes and withhold taxes, this burden will fall to the worker. Many people are unable or unsophisticated enough to make their estimated payments and end up owing money to the IRS that they are unable to pay. People making 8 or 9 dollars per hour would make even less under this system.
