I dunno, really he is just a big nerd I wouldn't expect him to be a gun nut AND a game designer. Also there is the fact that he is European, and over there gun culture is much more... taboo?

I just picked up the game and so far the only obviously inaccurate gun (aside from aiming reticules of sights) is the MEU pistol, which has incorrectly modeled sights, and the wrong profile slide.

Guys, the handle/rear sight shit was INTENTIONAL, they wanted players to spot these mistakes. Helios, the community manager from the official forums said this. He's just trying to have some fun with one of the final dev diaries, for pete's sake.

cant wait :D i love the way that everything is genuine. The gun sounds and the tactics. It makes a change for the more acarde style games, which dont get me wrong are great fun, but are abit repetative when i thought about it. He is right about the weight of the gun, it's something I had noticed the guns seemed weightless in some movies, including the ODST trailer.

Lol, yes you would, the handle has a small telescopic sight, and the big iron sight at the end of the gun has a cross hair, allowing you to pick targets off much more accurately.
