I actually don't think it makes a difference. I mean one the movie sucks anyway, Two it doesn't make Goku the character not Asian or asian, in the end its a cartoon. Most of us Identify as kids with the cartoons we grew up with. I grew up with Dragonball too, I actually identified with Goku cause when I was a kid I had blond hair and green eyes. I think he was in to get the story going, he ends up dying anyway, so this kind of dismisses you're point, to have Krillin in there you would need to have friendship development, and that would be pointless if he were to be killed off, he would be kind of pointless period, unless he helps, which would change the whole story, the director himself said he wanted to keep the feel and aspect of DB, he pulled it off, and that is what DB is about, not an elaborated story, just fun and entertainment

first off i like your video. second you do have a point about the indian guy and the black guy but also if you look the "white" characters have the white in thier eyes. and the asain people do not have the white in thier eyes. This rule follows all except three characters and that is chi chi, yamcha, and master roshi. Chi chi would be asain to me cause her costume when she grows up is like traditional female asian clothes. Yamcha same thing with the sword and stuff. Roshi is asain that travels.

I'm not sure what you mean by "whites" in their eyes. Do you mean the white reflecting in their eyes from the light? I think I've seen Chi Chi with that sometimes actually but those with black eyes don't have it too often in the show. I think it's just stylistic really. Android 18 doesn't have it either, but I have no clue what race she's supposed to be. She can be white or Asian as far as I'm concerned.

I think Android 16 and General Blue are examples of 'white characters' in this series.

Since the plot centers around Piccolo, they'll have to go through ALL the most important things: the Finding the Dragonball adventure, Goku's training with Master Roshi, Meeting Yamcha in the desert, The World Tournament, ect. They could squize it all in so they made a new plot featuring all of those. They also had to recreate Dragonball so that it won't look stupid to normal people. Head full of blue hair, talking animals, flying cars seem more childish then to expect of a real movie.

Its okay, I like hearing people's thoughts. Call me a theropist. The thing is that this movie only has so much time to get it started, plus it needs to end at the correct time. I am going to release a video soon that'll explain the closest thing to what the plot is for this movie(using evidence of course). You'll be surprised that they are actually sticking mostly to the beginning of DB, during the ending, since that's where Piccolo is.
