in pendantic mood: That is catastrophic waves for those boats... obviously the boat would be filled with water through the portcullis... And no wonder they do not shoot eachother with canons, they are probably filled with water. But good looking ships

@dinotles i have thought about that as well and normally gun ports would have the gun port lids and would be closed when not in combat but yea i play the game and at the moment i have the poseidon 4th rate (the one on the left that is slightly further back than the other one)

These are really beautiful ships. I would actually play POTBS if they had a Dutch faction. It's so goofey that they don't. Historically, eighty percent of the worlds cargoes were hauled in Dutch bottoms during the 17th cent. Indeed the Dutch owned 80% of the world's ships that century.

BTW we got permission to convert these two models for use in COAS:GOF and POTC: New Horizons over on Pirates Ahoy! They look great! We have other POTBS models as well that we got permission to convert also.

Is it actually possible to join other people's ships and help as crewmates or something like that?

@Lextoons You mean fight in the same ship? Nope. You can fight with your friend in avcom on land missions etc. You can also board someone in PvP or in skirmish battle.

@Lextoons i very much doubt that, it would be a very very big addition being able to walk on deck and go below to the gun decks load and fire guns etc.. they will have to spend months and months doing it and then check for bugs, whihc there probably will be allot of like all game when something new is added, personaly i dont think they would ever bother

Macedon have bigger quater deck, Poseidon is simpler.
