WD40 isnt a lubricant at all its a solovent so your hurting it more then anything.

great vid if you dont know where the dial or glow plug is on ur rc car or... dont know how to operate a can of wd40. but personally i would use afterun oil

WD-40 doesn't lubricate that well, it only leaves a small film of mineral oil which probably isn't enough for these cars. It's great for cleaning it though, it's just like cleaning an engine with lighter fuel. I always leave the WD-40 to dry out well overnight and then add a little extra machine oil.
