I'm glad I found this song. It makes me cry thinking of all the people I've loved who want me to continue on the same path as them. But now that I have found the narrow path I can not go back to traveling with them.
Had to share my experience in finding this wonderful man. Walking around Golden Braid (local spiritual store and coffee shop). This artist happened to come on who completely moved me. Sad because my shazamm app couldn't distinguish the sound I figured I'd never hear it again.. Well about 30 min later it came over the PA system again.. instantly I went up to the teller who informed me that wonderful voice is Josh Garrels.. I am absolutely blown away by this man. HE IS AMAZING!!! epic find!!
@MrAwesomemusician I was complaining this whole summer about how there isn't any good christian music out there, because it all sounds like its been put through the pop-machine (you know... the one that adds a "catchy" drum beat and synth...) When I heard this guy and caught on to his lyrics my eyes almost popped out of my head!
This song is the story of someone who has had a real encounter with Jesus and is in turn giving him the only thing that would seem reasonable to offer back. Everything. I really like this song it really encourages me to want to go deeper into the heart of Christ and truly give him everything.
