The best thing for speed training is pretty much just running up and down scales with a metronome, and gradually increase the speed. its pretty boring but worth it.

Yeah, I do chromatics a lot but don't have a metronome. I can't seem to get any faster though :( And in Feener's FAQ's he doesn't even use a metronome at all.

youll get faster in time. and just cause chris feener doesnt use a metronome doesnt mean they dont help. he may be a good guitarist, but you dont have to do everything he does. its good to practice with one if you ever wanna be in a band, because staying on time is important.

All depends dude, some days not at all, other days 13-14 hours, other days 1 hour, it all depends on what I'm doing and how interested I am. I hate setting limits and time constraints because it becomes a chore.

It's completely random dude, I never set any set times, I just play when I feel like it. Some days 12 hours, other days 2 hours, other days not at all. It all depends on what I'm doing really.

I don't consider myself to have fast fingers compared some guys, I just trained them to the point that their very locked in with regards to coordination between the left and right hand.

The 7 is an Ibanez so the neck is super slick and quick for the shreddy stuff!
