As a medical student myself, I hereby have power over which show pwns which, and Scrubs here will slaughter Grey's like a butcher will to a pig, especially when the butcher's wife is begging for roast pork that he has promised 8 days ago, much like the way JD always begging internally for his mentor's approval and the butcher knows the anatomy of the pig so well that he will know which vessel to severe so quickly that the pig will grow thumbs and commit seppuku just to save his time.
I like both... but I see quite a few similarities between the show (minor ones at least). Co ed locker room, the bar the hospital staff hangs out at, hiding in closets.... on and on.

Well. I don't know if it's so black and white. Grey's Anatomy tends on the heavy side of drama I would think, but I find that Scrubs is often a lot deeper, a lot more moving in general, in addition to the obvious comedy as well. Like, when Dr. Cox's friend died. That was so much more dramatic than anything Grey's Anatomy's really...tried, I guess.
So the interns have gone through all the trouble of gathering in that room, only to have two doctors come in, talk about greys anatomy and then leave. I'd be pissed if I were them :O

And yes, scrubs is actually (medically) the most accurate medical show, drama like they have does not exist in most hospitals but the common place illnesses are more accurate, occasionally a rare disease where as shows like House, there is a rare disease every 5 minutes where House jumps in to save the day, Scrubs actually mocks them in episode 4 season six "my House" Carla has postpartum Depression, Elliot is pissy with Turk, and a random man is orange. Medically Scrubs was most accurate.
My Aunts a Nurse, so is my Grandmother, and they say Scrubs is very close to what it's really like in a hospital! ;)
Some of the funny stories they have told me could easily make it in Scrubs!
Scrubs is SO funny also, it just never gets boring, and i've seen all of them(so far!) I'm in the UK not sure if we will have Season Nine, I t didn't go down to well with US fans! ;) When JD left, i thought it was perfect, really touching! :)
Love both for different reasons, and I'm able to appreciate Scrubs poking fun at Grey's because that's just what they do.
Grey's I watch because I can relate to the characters much more than I can with the characters of Scrubs. It's a show about relationships, mistakes, and consequences.

Scrubs came about 4 years before GA... while I'm kinda enjoying GA right now (first time watching it, on Season 2 so far), Scrubs 1-3 (ish) is some of the best TV I've ever seen... such a shame about 9. Biggest turnaround in TV history!

My Aunts a Nurse, so is my Grandmother, and they say Scrubs is very close to what it's really like in a hospital! ;)
Some of the funny stories they have told me could easily make it in Scrubs!
Scrubs is SO funny also, it just never gets boring, and i've seen all of them(so far!) I'm in the UK not sure if we will have Season Nine, I t didn't go down to well with US fans! ;) When JD left, i thought it was perfect, really touching! :)

Love both for different reasons, and I'm able to appreciate Scrubs poking fun at Grey's because that's just what they do.
Grey's I watch because I can relate to the characters much more than I can with the characters of Scrubs. It's a show about relationships, mistakes, and consequences.
Scrubs I watch because the moral lessons are so damn good and it's usually a great laugh. Sure it's a more realistic hospital dramedy but as someone who knows nothing about medicine, that means nothing to me.

@solangesand also,I finally got around to watching that 30 Rock show everyone's been talking about,and I seriously don't get whats with all the hype. its a boring,dull, cliche show with flat humor and I don't see how it wins best program and Golden Globe awards every year. Its just grossly overrated.

Well, I love House! I agrre with you. I think that "House" is an amazing show, with great actors, especially Hugh Laurie! Grey's Anatomy and House are my favorite TV SHOWS. But I don't like Scrubs. For me, it's boring. Grey's has better storylines, without any doubt.

Well, I don't like Scrubs. I think that Grey's Anatomy is so much better. I prefer because sometimes teach me things and I love the actors and storylines. Just my opinion.
And honestly, I think that Scrubs and Grey's Anatomy don't show the real life in hospitals. Both. C'mon, it's tv shows... Do you think that a doctor like House exist? -.-

Grey's Anatomy and Scrubs are similar in that they arent afraid to show the harsh reality of life in medicine
Scrubs is different because its' blunt but mixed with light-hearted humour to make it easy to swallow
a "spoonful of sugar" if you will :)

Scrubs came about 4 years before GA... while I'm kinda enjoying GA right now (first time watching it, on Season 2 so far), Scrubs 1-3 (ish) is some of the best TV I've ever seen... such a shame about 9. Biggest turnaround in TV history!
