  • Chicken's are fun little pets. The reason why most of us can't live on farms and still eat them unless your brought up that their just for food and friends like I was. But I have always had a soft spot for chicken's. They are adorable.

  • I know if I had pet chicken's I could never eat them. Especially if they were that friendly.

  • @TheMeriale They are lovely pets, especially if you get to know them and they get to know you.

  • @19SpUd19 I watched a movie this week staring Emile Hersh called The Mudge boy were he just loved chicken's but lived on a farm where his father of course ate them. He had 1 while chicken he would sleep with and that chicken just loved him. It was so adorable watching him with that chicken. I grew up with Chicken's but they were always locked up in a coop and my mother would allow us to treat them as pets and I only saw her kill one chicken before I flipped out and afterward she stopped.

  • its nice to see somebody who also loves their chickens and spends time with them!! many people dont know how social chickens are and that chickens can be trained and taught things and they thrive with human interaction. i love my chickens!! they are cute and special animals! they make great pets. everyone should adopt a chicken so they can be saved from poultry factories to give a chicken a happy life! adopt a chicken!! :)

  • @tonialuvslecter You are exactly right. They are fantastic pets. I think they are as social as many other small animals.

  • @MeLoNhEadSeb I still have 2 that are in the video.

  • @19SpUd19 nice how old are they?

  • @19SpUd19 sorry about this but is that the chickens boobies swinging at 0:50?

  • @mikemanu01 These are warren browns

  • How did you train them to jump up on your arm?

  • With something they like to eat lots. Started off low so they could see the treats and now they do it whatever. Takes some initial trust. If they enjoy your company without the need of treats they should be fine with this. Be patient and spend lots of time with them :)

  • really neat. I'm going to try it!

  • @starboots77 I used corn to persuade them. They were quite fast to learn but I guess like training animal it takes time. They now just jump when I put my arm out.
