hey bud, heres an idea to make em brighter... ive seen it done before.. put reflective tape along the back of the halo... and if you want to make it even more efficient.. put the tape arounf the LEDs.. what it does is the reflective tape traps in more light without absorbing any.. keeping heat low. good luck
@Unicronsupreme It's because the Angeleyes effect is parking light only. Some countries they're illegal if the ring effect is too bright - they need to be dim. Afaik only BMW are allowed full light angeleyes since it's a patent from BMW orginally.
@00gundamreviews Dude, these things draw almost no power. If you could solder a battery pack for it, all it would take is 4 AA batteries to power this, or with a different resistor a 9v would do it.

Those are car headlights? They seem really really dim to me. Is that normal or is it because they're old?

Looks pretty sweet. Make sure you give us a shot of the final product.
And I am also in favor of a BTW armored mech suit.

@DrewsiferXXX I got the idea to cut the notches from reading the tutorials on how to build them from scratch :)
I have nothing but respect for the people who did this kind of thing from scratch before things went mainstream.
