  • From my limited listening experience, this recording of this tiny piece is my single favorite performance of any Chopin etude played by any player, and is in my silly little opinion perhaps one of the finest ever made. It is sheer joy of music. Thank you Wilhelm & Thank you filippeo85.

  • Backhaus is supposed to be one of the greatest piano players of the 20th century so your opinion of his playing is probably justified.
