  • Word of advice find your max. Take 80% and do 10sets of 5 that's a killer work out it targets your full chest. With just ten reps it focus on mainly your shoulders and triceps and also if you just wanna do ten reps squeeze you arms to gether at the Tom with out moving anything you'll get a get full chest image

  • dude you can do IT.

  • you'll build mass not even going all the way down...trust me most of these youtube haters are idiots who can't do shit.

  • @gatchAttk Bitch I am already putting up 275 for reps. So what the fuck are you even talking about? You are just mad because you are awful at everything.

  • @ILuv2troll Hah, shut it nerd. Your profile is a bunch of shooter games and you're telling me you bench 275 LOL...You probably do 10 push ups and call yourself a body builder. Go get laid cock sucker

  • @gatchAttk sounds like you are having a hard time understanding my strength... it's only natural because you are a little bitch pussy faggot anyway, so why should I care?

  • @ILuv2troll You've been copying/pasting this message for a week, even after having it deleted? LOL what a sad troll you are.

  • @ILuv2troll 275 for reps my ass, put a video up

  • nice bro:P

  • 140 is not hard. o and if you cant afford a 45 pund plate dont pile on 4 tens on each side. AND STOP THE SOUNDTRACK IN THE BACK. and I DNT CARE IF IT SNOWED

  • @coolpeopleandu Want some cheese with that whine? lol.

  • Good work.

  • Stealyamind is correct u don't have to touch ur chest just 90 degrees or a lil bit lower then 90 but for the guy who made this video do dumbell chest presses and then go back to bench after a month or 2 and see how much stronger u got just a tip :) good luck

  • First of all why wear gloves? lol okay here is what you Don't need 1 gloves, two you need plates not the sand ones they are cheap and move around, 3 NEVER hit your chest when bench pressing esp big weights ask anyone if you do not believe me, go find a gym rat they will lecture you on that, a lot of injuries come from hitting the chest, also the lock your arms idea is not wise either once again ask a gym rat why haha, to Bulk, Military press A LOT, preacher curls and str8 bar curls, YW God bless

  • @StealYaMind how can u get a injury for lightly touching the bar with ur chest? stupid

  • Do you want an answer to this question Frank or do you just want to "attempt" an argument over a youtube video. But I will answer your question Frank and hope it is not "stupid". When you do 5-6 sets of bench work, touching your chest is a bad habit, as your continue to work your arms they become oxygen deprived and they will naturally come down more.. the more you tire in your sets. It can start as a light touch, but easily become a habit that turns into ...a small car accident? haha

  • try heavier weight for 6 reps 4 sets, then 1 set at light weight till failure.

  • if you have a max and plateued, you shoule check out the smolov jr bench workout. Its great brought my max from 315 to 340 in about 4 weeks after being stuck for about 6 months. Going for heavy weight, powerlifting is the direction you need to go. reps below 6 will get you there. only if you have a solid max though. check out james henderson, he gives great advice.

  • Try Static Contraction Training by Pete Sisco, it is a new way of thinking regarding excercising. =) It is amazing and you progress quite fast, the key is to have enough rest between exercises.. anyway check it out, the ebook is called "Train Smart" :)

  • Lookin good man. And kudos to you for doin it right.

  • i love hearing led zepplin in the back ground xD

  • WHOLE LOTTA LOVE!

  • good keep it up i can bench press 175 @110.2 bodyweight watch my videos

  • i have 17 years and i bench 175 lbs 8 reps ;)

  • I think that it is because of my size, I measure 6f7i, and i am not very massive.

  • 10reps 140lbs is good,. me pressing only 5reps at 140lbs, lol,. :(

  • @giantguy666 you'll get there lol im 17 and can only bench 150 about 4 or 5 reps

  • @parkerman16 My arms are too long, and my chest is not large enough also. But on a vertical bench I can press 185lbs, 6 times.

  • @giantguy888 thats good, i havent tried 185

  • Nice, got in 10 reps on 140 lbs. Proud of you man, I'm tryin to get as lean and cut as you. I got abs, just don't show as good as yours. Haha. Got any tips for me? :P

  • cool

  • very good benching.... i feel yur pain becuz i had to do the same thing but now im benching 200 plus.... and my friends tht would bench high but cheat still bench the same thing so yea trust me this pays off big time.... good stuff tho

  • good but whats with the weird background noise?

  • @bcroger2

That's not background noise, that's Led Zep!

  • You need to power lift. I am the same build as you, but i only weigh 145lbs and i can push out about 240 on bench. its all about good form, heavy weight, and going until failure. being the same build as me, you should stay just as cut but make sure to keep working on the abs as well.

  • its funny coz i weight a 134Lbs you can bench me :) im 15 by the way lol

  • DON'T lock your elbows. It takes the pressure off your chests, and your triceps start doing some of the work instead of putting it all on your chest. As soon as you push the bar up, drop right back down. I sometimes do half reps which personally are harder because all of the pressure is on your chest, so maybe you'd tone it down a little on the weights with half reps. Just a word of advice.

  • hey man i just wanted to say good video your really nice (i think :P) just 1 tip

dont lock your elbows at the top it is an easy way to injure

  • Good job your doing great keep up the good work.

  • Hey, ur lookin great Bro, and its a good idea to switch off exercises every couple months. Careful with heavy weights with no spotter, Man!

  • nice job

  • Nice :) I might get a bench after I buy a totalgym. Not sure about it just yet though.
