I am going to see Randy Brecker this coming Thursday 10/21/10 at the FIU (South Florida) Music Festival. I saw Michael Brecker with Arturo Sandoval, a few years ago at the same venue. They were terrific. I am looking forward to it. Lucky Me!

Thx for posting this video. Randy has always been one of my favorite trumpet/flugelhorn players. He's been on my musical radar since the 1970's when the Brecker Bros. really popular. To this day, I love hearing Randy taking his solos "outside." He and Michael have always played these kinds of exciting kinds of solos where you never quite knew how or when they would bring their solos back "inside." And, I'm sure he's a great dad, too. His daughter seems like a great kid.
