It's like I always say.. Is not everyone who understand the art of gastronomy, so people like you shouldn't come here, be happy at Mcdonalds or any other restaurant that in your poor and limited conception sells real food
@nuppupajamiesketonen I highly doubt you've personally spoken at length to any of the worlds top chefs though you may have watched many videos on here just as I have and feel better educated on the topic I still have to agree with you to a point. Food in it's basic form served a function and that was to nourish people and provide energy so they could complete their daily tasks of the hunter/gatherer Darwin-istic sense back before cooking became what it is.
It wasn't until the emergence of Antoinne Careme and Auguste Escoffier that haute cuisine and nuevelle cuisine took shape and helped to solidify food and dining as an experience. Now with the added benefits of modern technology and the creativity and imagination of these great chef's food has reached a different level and not always in a good way. People like Rene still want to maintain that food should be for eating...
There is nothing wrong with BK. If you don't like a little greasy fast food from time to time; then you're just a fucking dick. Save the pretension for those who give a shit.
Will they win again this year ? The 50 best restaurant event will be streamed live so we can all watch it from home, Finally! it's on a site called fine dining lovers
How does this compare to marvelous French cuisine, Italian/Sicilian pasta and seafood, Chinese Roast duck and Japanese sashimi?
I've been to Fat Duck in London and to Noma in Copenhagen, it is experimental cuisine or what they like to call molecular gastronomy. I never had a chance to eat in El Bulli in Spain, but again this is not real cuisine. You have no idea how difficult it is to make a perfect mashed potatos or marinara sauce, or a perfect roast duck, not to mention sashimi...
what kind of food is that? the green stuff looks like some kind of caviar...no idea what everything else is...is that a truffle on top of that white thing?
Anthony Bourdain, a really respected TV host and writer, once said that he didn't really have the desire to visit more of Scandinavia. However, with the slow emergence of the "New Nordic" movement in Denmark, do you guys think he'll be filming there in another couple of years?
very inspiring to see how camaraderie and taste produce the best results! congratulations Rene for the leadership! wish I could taste your food before

I just want to tell you that most of the worlds top chefs says food is not art, including René Redzepi.

@grufian the only reason this is allowed is because of the amount of detail put into plating. they would be able to catch any spec.

If I want to find hairs in my food again, then I shall go there.
It is unfortunate that covering chef's heads with a type of hat does not seem to have permeated their culture.

@garysaran Why do you even bother posting here you condescending pig? Go to burger king where the real gastronomy takes action.
