  • Sounds great! I recently picked up 2 vintage Premier sets, and the build quality is far better than the Ludwigs I have, and better than many of the other vintage sets I have owned. Thanks for sharing!

  • Great!

  • I have the exact same kit with a Royal Ace piccolo snare (14 x 4) languishing unused at my parents' house. Still got the original Remo heads on it too! I'm thinking of getting it restored and cleaned up a little

  • Dude..you have to put up a video explaining how to do that rhythm...that is an amazing groove!!!!!

  • @funkydrummer14

  • Is that a 'Royal Ace' snare ? I have an early 60's gray shimmer set with a 14" piccolo Royal Ace - double 10 snare wires. One of the most amazing sounding snares I've ever heard !

  • @ironman5454

It is a Royal Ace indeed.

  • hey nice playing!

i was wondering what heads your using especially the bass head. thanks

  • Ambassador, Coated on all toms and on Kick (20 inch)

  • @brunoir Did you get the special 'pre international' sizes or just use modern Remos ?

  • @ironman5454

These are the pre-international sizes made by Remo.

  • Great drumming, great sounding kit! Don't ya love a new set of heads?

  • Sure do, had to order them in the U.K. Very rare

  • I like that the floor tom has ten lugs. This was common for Premiers back then, as well as the diamond-chrome plating being top class.

  • top kit fab drummer, great 60s sound 1stclass

  • Thanx man!

  • I like everything about this video. Excellent way to play these drums. They look and sound like a lot of fun and to have as a collector. Great job!!

  • Thanx!

... It IS a lot of fun ;)
