  • I have a 1999 1500 suburban. I love that truck. I drive it every day, and it has 171,000 miles on it. It runs and drives perfect. I feel confident that it can reach 600,000.

  • its a chevy thing thay will go for ever

  • good ol american vehicles are all capable of high milage like this. japanese have to be babied and still have a hard time reaching half that.

  • 350 ?

  • i've only heard of these sort of miles on a 18 wheeler but what type of engine does it have the regular 305 or 350

  • You're right about the armrest and the console. The 1990-94 models had the best seats. I have owned a 90, a 93, three 94's, a 96, and a 97 model. I like the dash change starting with the 95. You could get a factory CD player. I also like the looks of it better. The seats aren't as good though. You feel like you are sitting on an overstuffed couch.

A friend that is a GM dealership mechanic told me he thinks the 1988-95 engines are more durable. He thinks the Vortec engines need more maintenance.
