@Mehldrescher I think Katy Perry only sang this at one of the live shows as a fill-in. The studios version (this one) is actually backed up by the lead singer of the Dixie Chicks. Not bashing Katy, it's just that you're crediting the wrong person for this particular recording. =)

It's about a father who's about to die.

And the father told his son many tales, and he didn't believed him.

At the funeral the son realizes that not all the stories of his father were exactly true, but every story had some truth in it.

So it's about a father-son relationship.

And all the stories wouldn't been so great if the father had told him the real incidents...

You have to watch the film, it's great and sad.
