reading many of these comments, its obvious that over the decade people have become very ignorant and prejudiced. They no longer understand the art, and the concept of respect and discipline in them.
@SuperAramis2000 Hi there. Kyokushin has 1 white, 2 orange, 2 blue, 2 yellow, 2 green and 2 brown belts. + master belts. I am a blue belt and it took me 2,5 years to achieve it.
That was fucking hilarious, as i am typing this I am laughing, kicking him in the balls and punching him in the stomach wasn't enough so he gets out the staff, so then you fucking step on his head. Surely this is illegal.
@AyrtonSennaFan97 I never kicked him in the groin, that was an inside thigh kick. Its not illegal, its great training! In response to your mail to me about conditioning at home, of course the only good way is with a partner, but I know of karateka who have rolled glass coke bottles or rolling pins down their shins. I used to use the head of a coke bottle (the cap end) and drive it against my stomach and thighs and chest. But I wouldnt advocate doing anything outside the safety of the dojo. Thanks
@emmabookshelf because sparring doesnt have the same mental aspect as just standing there and allowing yourself to be hit. Hence his mental strength is vastly improved alongside his physical resilience. Thanks for your comment.
@thederegulator I couldnt a agree more, i train Jiu-Jitsu and we dont do this kind of training. And i have great respect for his will, and to anyone who asks about the stepping on the head, its to strengthen his neck. The guy who was taking the hits, is presumably in better physical form than some of the biggest bodybuilders out there, and thats because hes trained this way. And hes stronger mentally than your average everyday joe.
@emmabookshelf if you were to spar you will not condition all areas. Its call Wolff's law increasing bone density. And also toughing skin. Its something that should be understood, to even a undergraduate who is required to take merger science labs. o,0
@ManicLeo Well that too, but my main motivation was to build up his neck muscles more because if his neck is stronger, when he gets kicked in the head, there is less chance of his head moving so fast that his brain shifts inside his skull and he is knocked out. Of course, there are many ways to build up your neck strength, this would be just one. Osu.
@thederegulator Is that Impakt academy of mixed martial arts? If want to play kyokushin karate, seems that should join the membership of the impakt.....Is there any independent kyokushin class in Hong Kong with IKO1? Thanks...
@fatcolumn999 Yes that is Impakt, I dont work there anymore. They still have Kyokushin classes but the branch chief will leave HK soon as well. There are no independent IKO1 classes in HK. I run classes, but I am completely non politcal, I welcome everyone to join.
@thederegulator That's sad. I want to play kyokushin karate with IKO1. However, the terms and condition that impakt listed is too tough. They said they can change their price without notice and they charge through your bank account. That's not good for us. I prefer to give cash every month. In fact, i just want to play kyokushin karate, not to join that membership lol. Well, you teach kyokushin karate? Is there any information that you can give me? Thanks
@Angel7black you should go to an authentic kyokushin karate dojo and train before you call it stupid. The kyokushin fighters are very strong and many of them are successful in K-1. Just FYI. This video shows how strong the guy is and therefore he can withstand lots of punishment in a fight if he somehow gets in a bad spot and gets hit. Oh and real muai thai training are just as brutal if not more, go to thailand and you will see. Those guys are made of rocks.
@Angel7black Muay Thai smart? hmm , wouldnt say so , you learn more in Kyokushin Karate instead of just elbow and knee striking in muay thai , + that silly dance lol ... that is the only thing you do... But in kyokushin you learn 238234 katas , techniques , japanese words , you strengthen your nerves (depends if your senpai likes to have fun with that lol :D , that is kinda cool) , strength your body (also in Muay THai )... So tell me what is more stupid ... lol ..
@Angel7black smarter? and unnecessarily brutal and stupid? u said u did muay thai a? haha. reason why people do this dude is so that when it comes to a fight they dont get hurt as bad. imagine punching some1 who literally had shins and arms like stones?even their block would bruise u!
Come from a small town in Indiana (Kokomo) and I have trained with a lot of martial artist, fighters and non-fighters, and have found few to none that have that kind of conditioning training. Looks like it would be effective, where are all you at in my town? Come find me. Lets train.
@ obsidian 1392....it obviousy toughens the body so that when someone hits u...it wont hurt...after doin this for a long time wen someone hits it wont hurt at all
@Thelee456 orange belt is the first belt in kyokushin ...em orange and i get the same training as hi did. when you get to the green belt the sensey start's training you and that's the real fun :D
If you have a strong neck you can take punches to the face better and you wont get KO'd as easily, Also you should move your face away from the punch even as it touches you. But yeah you should always have your hands in a way you can protect your body. Because a KO is basically your brain being bounced around in your head, When it happens to often you can have brain damage its not a pretty thing.
SawazzzzzzzzzzzzDEE ... ready to come to Thailand ... keep up the training. ;-)

our karate teacher says that "you can harden your body, but you can't harden your head"
Omatunto 4 months ago
@Omatunto actually brah, you can harden your head with enough conditioning.
At the very least, you condition your mental toughness to better prepare to take a hit to the head.
I've conditioned using similar methods to those in this video. I've been hit with everything but the kitchen sink.
It actually feels good after you've built up a resistance.
