there are many reasons for a rider to sit in traffic and there are many reasons for a rider to "whisk" by; I choose to whisk by and am willing to take such risks.

I would be afraid that some idiot would purposely cut you off and crash you while lane splitting. Also, have you ever passed a cop while lane splitting?

Some of my recent vids have some splits with cars trying to push me off. I haven't split a cop but I have seen cops sitting one lane over or on the shoulder when I'm splitting.
