My So-Called Life - Angela & Jordan Hallway Scene

I watched this differently than most of the commenters I've just read. My HS counterpart was the young blond curly-haired neighbor of Angela's. He was hopelessly in unrequited love with her. FYI, only at the LAST MOMENT of the FINAL scene of what turned out to be the LAST EPISODE of this cancelled series' too-short run did Angela seem to comprehend his feelings and the depth of his role in her "Jared" relationship happening at all. It was HEARTBREAKING. I was SO disappointed by the cancellation.

Why is it that the greatest things in life, that are pure genius, always end too soon?! Best show ever!!! One of the best scenes in TV history. I watch an episode almost every night before bed, it does get me nostalgic, but I still get a warm fuzzy feeling afterwards, and I still cry when I watch some of the episodes. I believe Angela resonated with most of us girls, I was 15 just like her when the show aired, and I had a crazy/scattered/promiscuous bff too. The writing was impeccable.

I watched this show back when Mtv released it in the spring of 1995 as re-runs, from it's previous run on ABC in the fall of 1994. I've just discovered it again on Sundance network. I remember every seen from Angela and her friends to her parents discussing cooking classes. Every episode is like that. It's been 16 years and I remember everything about this show. I've never had a t.v. show do that to me before. It's such a drag it was on for only one season.

what i love is that all you guys who were 3 or 4 when the show came out are discovering it on Hulu for the 1st time. It's so awesome and amazing that this show still speaks to teenagers now. This show was on when I was in junior high and I remembering being so floored that there was a realistic show about teens out there.

I had heard of this show, but from everyone's description, I always figured it would be, like, a weird, emo, 90's thing. I started watching it a few weeks ago on hulu...and I just got like consumed in it. It's beautiful and much more realistic and meaningful than any other show I've ever seen. This scene is so perfect. Jordan is steamy but, in a way, I like to think that Angela ends up with Bryan because he's the one who loved her all along. I can't believe I was only 3 when this came out.
