@kbarbs101 I'd say that's a mixed blessing. Yes the rides short but that means they can get lots of people round quite quickly resulting in short queues.

maybe they should make the drop bigger and turn the seats the other way so ui go down backwards

this rides shit, all it is is a drop and its finished,, Shockwave-Drayton Manor is better apart from you hit your head really hard

Shockwave is an Intamin ride. Oblivion is a B&M ride. No need for comparison. Personally Alton Towers is a much better 'Theme Park' to be honest and the theming of Shockwave is crap compared to Oblivion. Theming and personality of a ride makes it unique.

jeez, is it just me or does this look less-scary than it actually is? I mean, when I went on it, there was so much smoke pouring out from under the ground and it looked much higher. Brill ride though, I recommend it. Though stupid me (or aggressive sister) picked that to be the first roller-coaster I ever went on :S

i first went on this ride when i was 10. im 12 now. hmm im going on may the 14th and may the 24th with ma mates. aint i lucky. goin twice. the only rides i aint bin on there are ripsaw and submission. and obviously allll the baby rides, Because im cool like that x ;)

I went on this for my first time in july. Im 12, Me and my big sister was on it in about 5 mins. But all the way queing she was like " Are you sure you want do to this"

and i went " Yeah whats the worst that could happen but if you here me swear its not my fault honestly!!" All the way down i was screaming FUUUCKKK! my big sister was there wetting her self with laughter , but i loved it!

Yeh Ive done sheikra in Florida, and its 30ft higher? It was sooooooooooo good, its higher than Apocalypse at Drayton Manor. The ride was brill, its so high and scary, and your stomach just drops, its <3333333333333333333 Ull like it when you go on
