  • Cliff CRAWFORD, I meant.

  • That's Billy Mize and Cliff Crofford singing in the background...don't know the girl, but know Billy and Cliff...worked at the Foothill Club in Long Beach with them for a year.

  • Actually, Bobby Bare recorded "All American Boy" but Bill Parsons was listed on the record because Bobby Bare was signed to a different record label. Bobby Bare found out that the song was released in Parson's name and was a hit while doing basic training in the service... I believe in the Army. But Bob Luman was a great entertainer who died much too young.

  • THIS is one of those shitty version where the country guy sings a black mans song, wheres the love? it sound like a dude singing in his sleep

  • @olskool1877 Right...whereas when Ray Charles or Esther Phillips, etc., do Country, it's fine. Actually Bob Luman was a major figure in American music. Wrote a bunch of fine tunes, produced a lot of good artists, and did "All American Boy", credited to "Bill Parsons".

  • wow is great

  • Great version!!!

  • I saw him in Daytona and Shoal Creek in Lavonia , Ga. talked to him personally- have never seen or talked to a nicer and better performer--AAAA

  • This is just great!

  • Outstanding! I've never seen this before.

    Thanks for uploading it.

  • I love this rendition of Stagger Lee & in the furture I would love to record that song. Bob does a nice rendition of that song which he should've recorded on any single or album.
