  • just use the good old Baton...

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks RCMP for the shame and disgrace. Lots of huff and puff but at the end of the day.............nothing happened to those involved.

  • aviomaster i see u got a problem with the polish people u dumb fuck pussy bet u life in chicago i would fuck u up bitch...

  • Polish people are used to test new equipment , anyways in USA and Canada , They think of them as lower class race ... and Polish dumb asseses still lick their ass. NATO ass I want to say.

  • Just ignore Padraa the Troll.

He goes from video to video spamming lies to instigate fights. Youtube has banned him many times for harassment, spamming and stalking.

His other troll names are Reggieworth, Nicholasix, Padraa2, 5k88, 5k888, 5k8r2, 311roadrag, TheCatholicPedophile, Skatersdontsuck, Gordonline and so forth.

    Don't feed the vile troll

  • Ravi Hira is a jackasss only thinking about people above him rather than the people who hes supposed to be fighting for.

  • shielded22001 I don't know about Broncofire, but I have been shocked by the tazer twice in training. I wouldn't let someone test my gun on me. Additionally, I am an EMT and have had 500+ hours of training on AED's, TASER, Electrical Safety, and emergency medical care. I have read the studies on the deaths, and not a single one of them was blamed on the TASER. Excited Delirium was a more likely cause and the use of hands on force would have been more dangerous, TASER is safest choice they had

  • How many ppl have died after being shot, use of a baton, being grounded, being restrained. And a tazer has never been the cause of death, there are always a under lying medical condition.

  • tazered 5 times. Even a healthy heart will have problems with that. 4 buffed police guys can bring down a disoriented man with no problems.

  • i agree with you man 4 huge police officers could have taken him down without having to use the taser

  • This is for the dumb ass cop Broncofire that says tazers don't kill people, I guess you didn't listen to the report or you would of heard that 286 people have died from tazers already. Ok, maybe I misunderstood your comment. I think you meant you haven't had the pleasure YET to kill someone yourself with a tazer, right? ok, now that we have that out in the open, why don't you go and tazer yourself or go have tea with baxstermaster.

  • Listen to the video, they say 286 that died after using the TASER, not from using the TASER. They acknowledge that the deaths were attributed generally toward Excited Delirium Syndrome (EDS). Looking at the way this man is panting in the video. EDS is characterized by an increase in body temperature, heart rate, breathing, etc. Look at the video and see if you see some of those symptoms. I do.

  • You can really see the breathing in the longer uncut version.

  • wtf.... so many police.. one guy... need to use taser????

  • Police officers using tasers is a form of legalized torture and it is inhumane, point blank! Tasers do cause deaths. And Bush says the United States does not use torture, yeah right! You never know when you are going to be confronted with a crazed police officer, you could very well be next! Tazers and torture should be outlawed, period! The use of tasers is against human rights.

  • i am a police officer in Roanoke VA im gonna say this so every one can know THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A CASE>>>NEVER>>>> WHERE A TASER OR STUNGUN HAS BEEN LISTED AS A CAUSE OF DEATH

  • why does everyone from amnesty international look the same?

  • 2million + members and they all look the same.

    xenophobia anyone?

  • I never said I was afraid of them...don't soldiers look the same too?

  • why would you point it out -incorrectly and as a derogatory question- 2 million people ALL LOOK THE SAME?

all chinese look the same to you?

  • yup.....that doesn't mean I dislike or fear them...

  • why would you feel the need to point out that they 'all look the same'? especially when its not true. sounds like you have some issues dude

  • no issues here....how do you know what I'm saying?

  • Olivia Chow, a city counselor in Toronto shows up at a anti poverty rally where supporters/protesters are throwing bricks at cops and she wants a review of police behavior, states the police were improper, without learning the facts. She wore egg on her face when she had to backtrack after learning the cops did not start it...she votes against the cops every year at budget time...anti-cop lobby? she and her supporters that re-elect her might be considered that

  • even with 4 officers, they can't beat him into submission because that would not be correct...go get 4 friends (if you have that many)and try to subdue one of them who is active, without taser, pepperspray, baton, chokehold,..make sure your friend does not comply with requests and wants to break free..try doing a fine motor skill like handcuffing with adrenaline going through you...good luck....

  • explain why they would have to 'beat him into submission'?

    where did he resist?

they approached, he backed up, they surrounded him with his back to the table, then zapped him.

they never tried to grab him, he never made a threatening move that i can see

  • where did they beat him? they tased him and tried to handcuff him....there was no beating...maybe the cops should have waited for him to throw the stapler in his hand, get hit in the head, before they tazed him...

  • didnt say they should beat him. you brought that in.. see the quotes.

and if it was a stapler they would say it. thats heresay i think.

most likely it was the pen he had earlier.

besides the 'he had a knife' routine is old and tired

    v=LfFfUxBDMDY

  • hearsay? open your eyes, it's in his right hand.....and who wanted to use the he had a knife?...

  • read the YVR report, it just states an 'object' flew 20ft away when tased.

if it was a knife or stapler or anything sharp or hard it would have mentioned what it was to coroberate the RCs claim

  • so he did have an object? thanks.....you never answered my question, where do you live?

  • the same pen he was holding earlier when they confronted him

and bax, b4 you ask again.

asking people to give personal information is against the TOS agreement

  • that must be a huge crayola pen because what I saw was larger then a pen..as for asking your location, who cares....not asking an address, how about the province....

  • my bc drivers licence expired last year. havent lived there since 2k tho

a tiny object you see 8M away thru glass in a shitty vid is not really the issue. im not about to argue it.

just that if it were anything even remotely metal or sharp the YVR report would mention it as it so clearly says there was an object fly 20ft

  • and michael moore doesn't do this for millions of dollars...and ratings....go ask the cops if you can ride with them...see how well you do...

  • "michael moore doesn't do this for millions of dollars"

just because someone in amerika can make films about their corrupt society and get rich dosnt make the message any less valid.

police are too quick these days to assume you are dangerous. liability issues, the training and fear of terrorists have made them unreasonably aggressive to regular citizens.

luckily youtube is usefull in having lots of people see this type of action and make their own comments/reccomendations

  • i make my own mind up too....maybe the police are tired of having the deck stacked against them, it's a violent culture...

  • not in canada.

  • canada has no problem with violence? dreamer!

and you think the courts are effective?....I want to live where you are...

  • gangs in toronto are not violent?

  • compared with the us or most of europe.

never said no violence. i said 'not in canada' as a reply to 'its a violent culture'

italy has a violent culture. poland has a violent culture. sure theres gangs in toronto and vancouver for that matter but just look at the murder tables. even gangs in canada are less violent

  • did they want to kill him? no.....did you hear security say 300 passengers were coming in 5 minutes? Would the police be criticized if they let 300 people walk by someone who had been throwing things? yes...what if they didn't and someone got hurt? lawsuit...should a cop have to be punched before he can defend himself? no....is it supposed to be a quick, effective way to deal with a hostile person? yes....and you (padraa) going on different pages writing the same thing? anti-cop? yes.....

  • of course they didnt want to kill him.

Taser International has aggressively marketed its product as 'non-lethal' so use against non violent individuals [was] acceptable.

now its being proved the taser is lethal in some cases, use against non violent, unarmed people is no longer allowed.

  • define armed?

  • a man who is still in a secure area of an airport after travelling thru german [or any other] airport security would have no weapons.

he was tased 24seconds after they first met him. they outnumbered him and he made no threatening moves once the RCs arrived.

there were already several people about including that lady. he never was agressive to them either

  • behave an that shit wont happen to u

  • An unarmed canadian got shot by police last week in Thailand... its funny how nobody cares or talk about it... They talked about it 20 seconds on CBC national news.. Why is it that Canadians are not stirring shit like they did against the RCMP ? We want to defend an agressve immigrant but we do nothing for one of are citizen killed in Thailand ??

  • "the officer attacked her, fatally shot her friend and then fabricated a story that the pair had picked a fight with him"

the point is that you might expect that from thai police, canadian police are SUPPOSED to be more forthright.

also it is in the news AND the people had been living there for years not fresh offa the plane

  • Time to smoke some dope.

  • I HATE THE CANADIAN POLICE AND GOVERNMENT!!! How could they kill somebody without any explains? They didnt even try to ask mother of Robert to come over and help... It is impossible!!! I have tears in my eyes after I have seen this execution...

  • wanna tissue?

  • US ppl would have done the same... so stfu

  • little you know...its not the volts..its the amps....

  • how many volts does one of those defibilators (those paddless doctors use to zap your heart back to life)use? If it is less than 50,000 then a stun gun is tantamount to a torture device found in some medival dungeon.

  • A defibrillator has about 120-360+ joules of energy. That is what is required to start/stop a heart. A taser produces .07 joules of energy. 50,000 is volts. Amps are what kills. Tasers are very low on amperage.

  • actually if you read the taser int website info it states there is "8.5 A during 10 µs main phase"

they claim bcus its 10 µseconds that its insignificant, but i bet this will be shown to be sufficient to kill

  • "if you read the taser int website info it states there is "8.5 A during 10 µs main phase"

they claim bcus its 10 µseconds that its insignificant, but i bet this will be shown to be sufficient to kill"

    you read it here first.

why would someone vote this comment down? if you have electrical knowledge let us know

  • so what about what happened in toronto last weekend? guy was shot 4 times by the police...he was drunk and swinging a knife in a park but officers had no access to a taser...I think that guy would have been alive today...

  • who cares?

drunken idiots swinging a knife in a park dont rate high on the list of people to be compassionate with

an older fat guy who speaks no english frustrated at an international airport needs to be treated better than

  • who cares? that's harsh...what about his family?

  • and then what happened?

  • If you did their job, could you afford not to? putting their lives on the line everyday is more than a cliche...it could almost be a case of conditioning, police don't get called to have tea

  • It was 4 vs. 1 disoriented man. Even a single guy could bring that man down in a single strike and cuff him in less than 10 secs.

  • fascism at it's most brazen. this is not only a disgrace to the police force, this is an absolute shame to humanity.

  • There's too much emphasis on taser death and not on the perpetrators of his death. Will what happened in the case of the innocent young man shoot 5-7 times in the head while in a British subway? Google or YouTube "Jean Charles de Menezes" No Justice, Whats up in Police States

  • police have too much power. and if you say so or speak out against the abuse of that power you are labelled a 'cop hater' or 'anti-police group'

just like pacifists are 'unpatriotic' and 'expose the country to danger'

its a tuff job and im glad we have police BUT to BLINDLY accept every action is to accept the police state.

these officers should be punished [for improperly handling MrD. . AND for making the police look bad]

  • Please. There is a more prominant anit-cop voice out there then there is pro. I don't blindly accept anything.

  • the government, tax money and multiple pro-cop lobbies/parent groups/community groups are LESS PROMINANT than anti-cops?

is there even a national organization against cops? no, didnt think so.

some reaction seeking people write up "fuck the police" type comments in youtube but youd have a hard time finding a regular canadian that thinks the cops should all be fired

  • Touché

  • pro-cop lobby? where is that? the media plays to the anti-police lobby. The pro-cop group goes to work everyday and have no time to demonstrate their support at a rally. They show up to line the streets when a cop gets killed.

  • id like to know what you mean by `anti-cop lobby`

are there actually national organizations full of badasses who would rather not have police? ive never seen anything like that advertized or reported about in the news.

if by `anti-cop` you mean `anti-police brutality` or `anti abuse of power` then sure.. but anti-cop.. never heard of it.

when crime increases, police budgets increase

so really, criminals are pro cop no?

  • anti cop is anyone who shows up to complain about the cops even when they don't know all the facts....you have no idea of what training they got, the policy on when to use the taser...you probably have never walked a mile in their shoes but you are prepared to armchair quarterback them...make split second decisions every day and people what to crucify them, second guess them...i'd like to see you try to go 30 years dealing with crap without making a mistake....

  • it is the right and duty of citizens to make comments on how public organizations conduct themselves. 'walk a mile in his shoes' also applys to MrD. and the dissatisfacion voiced here is because people empathize with the man because it could be them/me in a similar situation.

i hope that RCMP would treat me a little better in the same situation

    its not anti police

  • if you were throwing things around, I hope the RCMP treats you the same way...

  • he was trying to get the attention of the police. he even yells police a few times.

once they arrived did he throw anything? did he do anything but put up his hands and back up?

so, hes dead. your wishing i would be too? justice is for the judge to dispense, not the cops. cops are not to punish people.

even IF it went before a judge RD wouldnt have got more than a small fine or night in jail

  • now how is putting words in people's mouths? I never said anything about your death. I don't think they saw themselves as dispensing justice. As for judges handing out minimal fines or jailtime, that happens everyday.

  • "anti cop is anyone who shows up to complain about the cops even when they don't know all the facts"

what would you like to know?

"you have no idea of what training they got, the policy on when to use the taser"

according to their training and the OLD taser policy they tased within procedure, but passed over several stages of communication

"you probably have never walked a mile in their shoes"

and i never will. i could not take a job where i was required to enforce rules i dont myself agree with

  • you can't punish them for making the police look bad! where is the crime there? everyday people are told not to do things by the police but this culture of entitlement we have these days, everyone has the right to complain or sue without merit or cause...suck it up and get on with life

  • kinda hard for Robert to sue anyone now huh?

suck it up == accepting bad decisions == police state no way

  • I was talking on a larger scale....where do you live anyways?

  • trudeau's bastardized Charter of Rights would never allow a police state...people like you scare monger, free elections? yes..fixed elections? no...free speech? yes...now there is a police state!

  • hey, i wasnt calling the present situation a police state, dont mix words.

what i said is that blind acceptance of police actions, even bad decisions IS a police state.

you saying 'suck it up' is telling me to accept the mistakes and bad decision of these RCMP. for what?

police stop weaving cars and arrest drunk drivers so we are safer on the road, likewise bad cops need to be removed from the force to keep citizens from being tased for no reason

  • "you can't punish them for making the police look bad!"

a] why not? people get fired from lots of jobs for making an ass of themselves in uniform

b] its punishing them for making a bad judgement. if they worked on a fish boat and made a mistake it could mean their whole arm cut off, not just lose their job

if some cops actually were fired after such incident maybe they would treat us all better

  • Why does everyone assume tazers are safe? The only testing done on it was done by the company that sells it. Why do we trust it? Of course the company that sells it will say it is safe.
