dont run it without the muffler because i did that and i finally messed my motor up and had to buy a new motor and they arnt cheap at all. Now i have a fmf power core 4 pipe on mine and it is bad ass
Look here's the honest truth any mechanic will tell you. Running a quad without a muffler will not hurt the engine as long as the engine is properly jetted and tuned for the lack of back pressure created. You also loose torque by getting rid of the muffler because back pressure helps create some torque for the engine. However unless you remove the header as well you shouldn't damage the engine. If you take the header off you can suck in cold air and crack the hot metal.
@BWRProductions Thanks for the comment. I have a Pro Curcuit T4 i just wanted to drive a little bit with it louder to change it up. We put the muffler back on after this video so nothing was hurt.
@Tylerpray101 So my question to you is how do other vehicles have no mufflers and they don't have the same problems, does it only count for quads or what?

Were going to take off the muffler again and go to like somewhere in the backcountry to test the distance of the sound lol so we don't piss the neighbours off because i woudn't be surprised if they all had shot guns.
