If season 9 had kept Derek, Howie, Sunny and Katie along with Denise then maybe it would have had a better chance of making it. Although without JD, the show wouldn't be Scrubs.
It's sad that Elliot assumes that lady is anorexic for only physical symptoms of weight loss. There are plenty of diseases that cause severe physical weight loss, and also unknown causes (I have 3 people I know with that). Did it ever occur to Elliot that perhaps she's MENTALLY stable? There should have been other tests, not just ones to show symptoms of weight loss but ones to show what caused the weight loss.

Some facts: anorexia is the symptom of a poor diet, no matter what the cause; anorexia nervosa is a mental disorder in which the patient has a distorted body image, thought to be affected by cognitive biases (cognitive=mental). Oh, and in the show and real life, doctors perform more tests. You're self-righteous ass.
