i was wondering do you think you could carry something like a backpack while using the orbit wheel ... i was wondering because they look like they could fit in a backpack and would be good for that if they are stable enough
@ChristianOwenified , Yes you can wear a back pack while riding them, and yes, the foot platforms detach and snap flat into the inside diameter of the circle, so they'll easily fit in a backpack.
Pushing off of walls and coasting in a straight line is a good way to get the hang of balancing and keeping your feet close together. It is best to do this on a slight slope. Once you are more comfortable coasting, then you can begin to try the "wave-like" motion with your feet to propel yourself. Remember, this should only be done on a gentle slope, as too much momentum will actually make it harder to learn the motion. It takes a few hours (for me, those few were spread over several days).
i cannot get the hang of it either...i got them a long time ago..usually i am a fast learner but this is intense...does it matter what foot you put it on? which direction u travel?
Yep, free lines are another cool way to get around. We don't carry them yet, because it's pretty easy to make a pair for one's self out of spare bits of wood and roller blades. We are always open to new and unique toys though, and both the Orbit Wheels and free lines apply. Thanks.
A few of the movements are similar to the wave board/ripstick, but these are obviously separated into two different pieces, which will work a lot of different muscles that the wave board never will.
where can i buy these there awsome
